Innovation · Brain & spine

From surgical questions to working prototypes.

Our focus is the brain and the spine: where millimeters matter, access is narrow and every instrument has to earn its place.

—Three themes

What we are working on.

01

Surgical technologies

Endoscopy, instruments, ergonomics and selected robotics collaborations.

We put clinicians and engineers in the same room around concrete brain and spine questions — and work them through to non-clinical prototypes that can be handled, tested and challenged.

02

Connected simulation

Physical simulators, sensors and complementary XR.

Training-pathway tracking and feedback that is actually useful to the learner. Academy OS is our development direction for connecting practice, training pathways and useful feedback. We are exploring AI-assisted feedback and information synthesis for training and care-team workflows, with human review.

03

Digital Care Platform

Tools for preparation, care coordination and recovery.

Planned: a patient companion for check-ins and patient-reported information, team views and recovery follow-up. In Miami we develop, demonstrate, train and cooperate; clinical deployment and care take place in Europe, and clinical decisions always stay with treating professionals. All modules are in development.

Research programs and digital modules are in development.

Human performance

Attention, precision, decision-making, preparation, recovery.

We welcome specialists in elite sport, aviation, motorsport and simulation to develop focused exchanges on learning and performance.

What we can explore together

A

Usability sessions

Surgeons handle your device or interface in realistic brain and spine scenarios and give structured feedback.
B

Technology demonstration

Show a system to a qualified professional audience in a dedicated, non-clinical setting.
C

Scoped R&D

A defined question, a small team, an agreed timeline and a clear output.
D

Prototype workshop

From sketch to bench model: clinicians and engineers iterate together on a concept.
